The van is in good mechanical order with no issues. Fully laden, it averages 27mpg urban driving.

This van is currently trading in Totton, Southampton, with rapidly increasing turnover and good reputation both in Totton and Southampton.

Although the sale is for the van, the site owners are very flexible, and would be happy for a new trader to operate from that location. They have 23 other locations along the south coast, so there is the opportunity for expansion.

The van is for sale due to me moving house, and downsizing to a location that doesn’t have space for the van.

This used to be a DPD van from new, and was serviced by DPD. Sadly there are no records.

I bought the van in April 2024. I took it to Marshall Mercedes (Nursling, Southampton) for a full inspection, and nothing of concern was found. It seemed to be well looked-after. It passed MOT in May with no issues, and one advisory for slight play in nearside steering rack joint. The van drives better than many much newer Peugeot and Nissan vans I test drove.

The van has a full electric cert (12/12/2024) and another can be organised prior to sale if required.

The van is set up to cater to both 3-Phase electrics, and single phase. Under 3-Phase, there are three rings of sockets so that power can be evenly distributed. Under single phase, all the those sockets are on the same ring. This was specified so that I could connect to a high power supply at a hospital in Southampton. Mostly though, the van runs a 32A single phase supply from both a Honda EU70 Generator (not included in the sale), or connected to the house overnight, via a 3-pin regular domestic socket..

The van has a gas cert date 22.03.2025, and another can be arranged if required. The van is fitted with an internal outward facing gas locker for a 19KG LPG/Propane bottle, located at the nearside sliding door. The gas ring is 22mm diameter pipe and has two pop couplings so that the gas appliances can be easily connected or removed. The cert allows for three heavy duty devices on the two connections (two at any one time). The van uses any two of large Infernus gas fryer, 5 Burner Infernus Flat Top Griddle, 4 Burner Infernus Chargrill. The fryer and flat top griddle are included in the sale, the chargrill will be sold separately.

The electrical cupboard has rcd trips for all the circuits (see pics)

There is also a separate 12V circuit for lighting, water pump etc. This is taken from the mains electricity into the van, rather than from the van's battery.

There are electrical connections in place for solar on the roof, and batteries in the front cab (behind the seats). There are also electrical connections for roof-mounted signs/lights.

There are three bright LED (soft white) lights mounted high on the customer-facing side, and one on the rear (sliding door) side of the van.

The van is fitted with a proper commercial extractor hood, with a single 12V extractor fan. It’s remarkably effective, but has cutouts ready for two more fans. The hood gives 5’9” of clearance.

The floor is laid with professional kitchen Altro Stronghold 30 (3mm). It's very resistant to heat, chemical, impact, piercing, and is fully non-slip. It covers the entire floor of the van, and is only perforated by the required gas escape traps. We haven't screwed anything down through the floor.

All the walls are lined with 9mm plywood, and then with 2.5mm commercial kitchen cladding. The walls are easy to clean, and the cladding is very tough. This includes the rear and side doors. With the ply lining, it means shelving, appliances or anything can be hung anywhere on the internal van working area.

Almost instant Hot water is provided from the 10 litre under-counter boiler. With the expansion vessel and pump, the hot (and cold) water flows fast. The two 100 litre fresh and grey water tanks are slung under the vehicle, and have depth gauges showing in the van. Both tanks have easily reachable drain-off outlets. The fresh water fill point is located inside the rear door of the van.

The van currently has a vehicle wrap on the customer-facing side only. The logo (of me) is printed separately so it would be an easy conversion to remove just the logo and add your logo. I can provide the existing wrap printer details.

Included in the sale are all the comms Eqpt and till system. A 5G router and 5G roof-mounted aerial, Wifi for the till system and customers, till system, fridge sensors (for easy EHO compliance). All this equipment is hands-off reliable. It just works.
